This is the summary version of how tideland came to be. In retrospect it obviously wasn't as easy as written
below, but it almost was...

Forming a band can actually be quite easy. Just walk into your regular bar, ask around
and it is very likely that there are some musicians among the regular customers. It is less likely
though, that the first musicians you happen to stumble upon are people driven by the same motives
for making music. People with a mutual desire to make music addressing certain topics, and a love for
music made with honesty that's doesn't have to be explicit, but which is implied by every single sound
and word created and uttered by its members

This said, it is obvious that tideland doesn't claim to be anywhere in the same league as those
bands or people that so often are the reason for discussion or references to things that are difficult
to just be said or explained. Tideland strives to be though...
